Displaying Field Values in a List

In a web application, I have a form with a multi-valued field that’s ‘Computed when composed’. The intent is to have a WebQueryOpen agent populate this field with values that are displayed in a list as follows:

dog

cat 

mouse

On the form, the field’s properties are set to separate and display values with a ‘New line’. The code in the WQO agent is as follows:

Dim stringArray ( 1 To 3 ) As String

stringArray( 1 ) = “dog”

stringArray( 2 ) = “cat”

stringArray( 3 ) = “mouse”

Set Item = doc.replaceitemvalue(“fieldName”,stringArray)

The result is that the field values are displayed on one line rather than in a list as follows:

dog cat mouse

I’d appreciate any suggestions on what might be required to display the field values in a list.

I am a bit confused here.

Are you saying that the contents of this field are to shown as display-only and no editing options?

If so, this is really simple.

Keep the multi-value field on the form, but make it hidden.

Keep the code in the WQO-agent.

Add a computed-text area to the form with this formula:

@Implode(YourFieldName; “
”)
