Disclaimer

I have search for disclaimer problems & solution for hours.

From the posts that are present on this forum, I couldn’t figure out an possible solution for my problem.

The problem is that the Disclaimer message is added to all mails that are sent by iNotes mail client (over the web).

Is there a way, to stop the Disclaimer be added to the mails that are replayed or forwarded?

Looking on the design of the iNotes databases and templates, I saw that part of the design is hidden/encoded… so, modifications couldn’t be possible… or is?!

Does an admin guru knows more? thx

I am assuming you mean a footer added to the bottom of each e-mail that is sent externally ("This e-mail is for the intended recepient only . . . does not represent the views of My Company Inc. . . . etc.)?

If so, then this is probably added by your external (SMTP) mail server; If it is running Domino then it might be added by a customisation to the design of the “Memo”, “Reply” and “Reply with history” forms in the MAIL.BOX database, or if you have a 3rd party mail security product it may be added by that.

If the disclaimer is being added by design changes to MAIL.BOX, then you can remove them on the appropriate form e.g. Reply and you will no longer get the disclaimer for e-mails of that type.

Yes… is about that footer. :slight_smile:

The problem is that the mail client is iNotes mail, using an browser.

The disclaimer is added by iNotes automatically, to all outgoing mails.

Disclaimer text can be setup using Administrator, on Configuration document Domino Web Access tab…
