Disclaimer

Hi All,

I have modified the Mailbox.ntf on my outgoing mailserver. This is a relay server which flushes mails to foreign domains. I opened the Mailbox.ntf in designer after making a local copy. Then copied & pasted the body field. renamed it as Disclaimer. in the bottom window posted the required confidentiality notice. Then copied the template to the server. Refreshed the design of the Mail.bOX.

If I send messages witha blank body, the disclaimer is visilble…If even one single word is written in th message body, there is not disclaimer at the receving end.

Can anyone throw some light on this issue.

Regards,

Subject: Disclaimer

Yes. That is not how you do it.

Edit either mail.box or the mail box template and add the disclaimer as text in a new line after the Body field. You don’t need to use a field to do this. Also, you need to enforce CD to MIME conversion at the server with clients sending email to Internet destinations as Notes CD.

See here (have tested this and it works perfectly).

My disclaimer: You don’t need a disclaimer anyway.
