We have a Domino 8.01 server cluster at our office and a single server at our “hot” backup site. All servers are consistantly replicating. During our Disaster Recovery (DR)test, we broke the communtications between our office and the backup site. When we send mail between users, the mail sits in the message queue because it cannot find the home server to deliver mail to.
I enabled failover “for all transfers in this domain” in the configuration settings.
Is there another way to have Domino find the database on the DR server?
Would setting up Directory Assistance help? Are there any “gotchas” that should be considered with Directory Assistance?
