Disabling agents for users

Users can crash the server when creating a simple agent to forward messages! (Simple Action “Send Mail”).

If the user put the own name into recipient list, a loop is created until the administrator stop the agent…or until the server crash because of low disk space…

The Adm can’t block the user agent execution rights because of other agents, like Out of Office. Even setting quotas, the problem is not 100% solved…

Does anybody know how to hide the Lotus Notes Action “View Agents”?

My first thought is to not let users be Designer/Manager of the database.

YES, your adm can block this. Have the admin use the field in the server doc on the security tab: “Run Simple and Formula agents”, this field does not affect the OOTO agent execution rights.
