Disabled options in "Customize this View"

After an upgrade to 7.02 on the notes client the options in “customize this view” are disabled on some of the views in multiple databases. There are some views that still allow changes. The mail template version is still 6.5 and if I go to designer and look at the “Allow Customizations” checkbox it has a check. I have also tried removing the check and saving then adding it back and saving again without any luck. Any suggestions? thank you.

Never heard of this before. Have those views been customized before, or are they shown as they have been designed?

If you have manager access to the database(s) in question, have you tried to refresh all view indices? Or maybe tried to purge them from Admin client?

yes they have been customized before. There is actually a version on a development server that everything works correctly. I would replace the database with that one but there are changes on the development version that are not suitable for the live version. I do not have manager access only designer but I will see if I can have someone try what you have suggested.

One more note: While the inner workings of view customization are not completely clear to me (and I don’t think they are officially documented), I found, that for each customized view, one profile document is created. I don’t remember the details off hand, but finding and deleting those profile docs might be helpful as well.
