Hi.

I wonder if there is a options to disable Single sign logon. I know you can stop the “lotus notes Single sign logon” service, but I wonder if there is a options in preferences or something like that.

Thanks.

And un-check the “Notes Single Logon” feature.

But can’t you also go to File, Security, User Security and uncheck the Log Into Notes Using Your Operating System Login option now?

Subject: Option grayed

That would be great, but I can’t check it. That options is grey in may client.

Thanks.

Subject: NSL option greyed out

we are using Notes 8.5.1 fp2 on win 7 prof, 32 bit. the option für notes singles logon ist greyed out. Any hints for that in windows 7? The user is prompted everytime he starts notes that passwords are not the same.

Subject: Controlling services

Unchecking the checkbox essentially stops the NSL services and changes the startup mode. The end user needs certain OS level rights to do this. If the option is greyed out then the end user doesn’t have those rights.

Subject: User has admin rights

Strange, because the local user is in group “administrators”. so this should be enough rights?!

Subject: Disable Windows Service

I had the same issue, just stop the windows service and disable it. The box will then uncheck itself.
