Hi, I have an issue where I want to allow certain users only to edit certain fields on a document. Normally, I would do this by creating a second, computed field for the fields tha tI did not want to be editable, set it to the value of the editable one, and then hide the editable one.
But in this case, they are Rich Text fields, and that doesn’t work because setting one rich text field value equal to another doesn’t copy in the data. Rich text fields also don’t have the Input Enabled property.
So how can I do this? All I can come up with is to have it actually copy the info into the other field with lotusscript. Any easier ways?
