Disable DOMWS task - prework

HiIn order to disable the DOMWS task in Domino 7.x I need to

  1. Add HTTPNoDomWSAppSpace=1 in notes.ini

  2. Set the XML Services box to Disable in the server document

Question:

  1. May I add this parameter in notes.ini before upgrading to Domino 7.x?

  2. When looking at the XML Services box in the server document of a

    Domino R6.x it is already set to Disable - so do I realy need to

    worry about this setting?
