Hi,Is it possible to disable archiving completely via Template? I am told that using a template, archiving can only be disabled in the Actions menu. Its not possible to disable archiving via File->Database->Archive menu. Can you please let me know if there is any way to disable archiving completely via template only without using a Policy?

When archiving is enabled there is some information written in a profile-document (I am not sure which one, but that could easily be found with a tool like NotesPeek). So what you need to do is to update that profile-document. This can be done by code in the databasescript in the open-event. Please note that this function will be executed everytime a database is opened.
