Dirlink on external drive

I tried to create a dirlink on an external drive.

  1. Mapped drive with driveletter z:\

  2. Created a folder \ext on that drive

  3. Created a dirlink ext.dir pointing to z:\ext

But the folder is not accesible by notes. If I try to create a database in that folder domino creates a same named folder and stores the database there.
