We are currently on Domino Server 5.0.11 and we use directory sync to populate our Domino Address Book from the AS400. We are planning a server upgrade to 6.5, and have just learned that directory sync will be no longer supported. Any suggestions on how we can keep this process in place? The documentation says that we should use LDAP in place - any pointers on how to get started with this? Thanks.- Marty

For information on publishing iSeries users into Domino using Domino LDAP, the following information center article shows how to configure it using iSeries Navigator:

LDAP is a Directory Service you can use for web authentication and looking up email addresses, among other things. It’s not going to sync your data to your Address Book. To synce, you could use the LEI with the DB2 Connect Personal Edition (running on your Notes server).
You’ll probably find lots of uses for the LEI with your AS400.
