I have a network with multiple offices each with their own server and client list address book plus an overall global client list address book.

I have set-up a directory assitance database (and replicated to each office plus replicated the global client address book). The address books all appear in the users e-mail address book drop down, however I would like global client address book and each offices client address book to display (plus the NAB and personnel address books).

Each offices has different organisational unit and therefore each user has the same organisational unit in their ID file.

Is there anyway to display the global address book (personnel and NAB) and ONLY their offices address book by filtering on the organisational unit or would multiple directory assitance database be required.

below are the address books I would like to display in the dropdown.

user1/OU1/O should display:

Personnel

NAB

Global Address

OU1 Client Address Book

user2/OU2/O should display:

Personnel

NAB

Global Address

OU2 Client Address Book

Yes, multiple non replica MAB’s will do the trick. And non replica copies are a good idea anyway as a change in 1 replica MAB will replicate out and usually requires some intervention at the server lever to reload the routing tables so the change in the MAB can be seen.

By Lotus’ own admission they only have so amny resources and often times the MAB is not top priority though it should be especiall with LDAP becoming so big.
