Directory Assistance: only first directory appears!

Hi,

We have around 10 directories created on the server (one for each dept.) with the appropriate ACL’s in place. As we wanted even the “email address resolution” in place, we created a directory assistance database (da.nsf), created multiple documents (one document for each dept. directory) within da.nsf and listed it in the appropriate server document. However, only the first document is getting listed in the directory listing (while sending an email) with the appropriate ACL.

-While creating the documents within da.nsf, I provided database links with various variations (with commas, without commas, with semicolons etc.)

-I also provided the replica names with the appropriate server name/paths and enabled them too.

-Since we have only one domino server, I gave the same domain name while creating da.nsf. Type Notes, Enabled access to both LDAP and notes users. I was apprehensive about giving another dummy domain name for da.nsf.

-The search order is blank.

-If I change the sequence of directory documents in da.nsf, the directory listing changes accordingly and displays the first directory name again. At least this way I know that directory assistance is working.

What am I missing here? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

start with 1 and give unique search order to all documents

If you have only one domino server then why are you using multiple links in a document??

Are you sure you are creating seperate documents for each directory database and not giving different replicas in the same document??

For each directory assistance document you create in that configuration database, the “domain name” must be unique for each one. Just make something up; anything. The first one should probably match your true domain name, but the rest can be anything – just make them all different. Then restart Domino.
