Subject: check server name on Server document
Hi
maybe too late, but I am too running 6.0 on an XP machine and have had the problem.
PROBLEM SOLVED yesterday as I noticed that the server name on the server document could be wrong :
it was entered as “server_name/domain_name”
I changed it to just “server_name” and this fixed the D.A. error message. It also fixed another annoying problem in the Domino Admin interface : on the domain / configuration page, if you click on servers, there is a link at the top to “Current Server Information” : this produced a “server document not found” error. After changing the name as explained above, this error also went away.

In the Server name field hint is written: Hierarchical name of server. Is it really ok to change it to common name???

Usually means that the data path in your notes.ini is wrong. I doubt it in this case though (I read your other post…)

I had this problem, sometimes it would not find the server .id file, or names.nsf, etc. Turned out it was because I was running the server on XP, which is not supported. Switched to Win2k, and everything is hunky dorey…Steve
