i want to give to the office of my factory different address books… for example, an address book for all the people in the marketing, another for all the people the custumer care etc…
i know that i could configure manually notes client to use another more than an address book, different from the names.nsf on local… it’s ok, but i’m trying to find a “centralized” solution…
so i created this different address books on server, from the pubnames.ntf template… set the ACL so each office can use only it’s address book… after i created a directory assistance, and under the directory assistance, i created directory assistance documents, one for each address book (the administrator help calls them Extended Directory Catalog)
and everything works… and it’s good…
but…
now in the “select addresses” box of my clients i can see all the address books of all the factory (ok, thanks to the acl, people could open only there address books but…), and it’s not so good…
and in the administrator, near the primary domino directory, i see all the address books (exteded directory catalog) i created, and i don’t know if it’s good…
and… at the last… i follow the right path for creating multiple centralized address books for my factory? only address book, not other things for authentications or web access or other…
