Strange problem with dircat process. When issue from Administrator console:
load dircat director.nsf
There are errors:
“Directory Cataloger error processing xxx.nsf. File does not exist.”
Error is for each directory listed in directory cataloger configuration document (xxx.nsf is just example here). There are 8 of them on this server.
What is really strange, when you swith to Files tab in administrator, and do anything with that directories (for example open and close ACL, db property window or just open database) and repeat command on console there is one error less. That way after opening all 8 directiories and start dircat again, there are no errors and cataloger is updated correctly.
Anybody seen such thing anywhere???
Could be connected somehow witch dbcache ? No special settings for dbcache on that server.
There are over 1600 databases on that server, but only about 120-150 concurent users.
Scheduled dircat doesn’t write anything to the log.nsf
