Dir Assistance DB

Hi, Addition to my previous issue, I have done some troubleshooting on the DA db and users are still unable to authenticate. Here is what I have done so far:

Created Directory Assistance Databse;

Created Extended Domino Dir;

Created person documents w/n the EDD;

Updated server address book to reflect DA & EDD databases;

Created replicas of DA & EDD on all servers;

Created DA doc w/n DA db for a specific domain;

Created dir catalogue w/n EDD and referenced names.nsf & added http password & user certificate fields;

Enabled trusted for credentials Policy;

Specified all replicas;

Created additional DA doc for internet domain;

Enabled trusted for credentials and specified replicas.

With all that, users are still unable to authenticate. Can anyone give me tips on what I am missing or doing wrong?

Thx.

Adams

Just a shot here but do you have the Restrict name lookup Enabled. This is within the Config doc, under Router/SMTP, Advanced, Controls setting?

Additional Controls (Delivery and Transfer)

Restrict name lookups to primary directory only: Disabled

Usually to get the change to effect for the first time you have to recycle Domino.

David, thanks for your response.

I am now getting an Error 401 “You are not authorize to perform this operation!” This is even despite allowing anonymous access to the server. Is there anything else?
