I was wondering if someone could point out the major differences between R5 clients and R6 clients. Also, is it ok to have R6 clients running on an R5 server? I am looking to upgrade my company’s mail database templates.

I don’t think I would run an R6 template on an R5 client.
First of all, the ODS has changed, so if you’re not careful, your clients will get “invalid ODS” errors.
Next, there are some new @commands and Lotusscript literals that may be used in the template and not supported by the R5 client. For example, “@IsError” is new to R6 and would give unpredicted results on R5.

Well, most importantly, you’ll notice that the color schemes are all different.
