What is the difference between Notes and Domino??

What is the difference between Client and Server?
Basically that. Domino also has other tasks that it can run apart from serving up notes databases to the clients, such as a web server component, mail, etc.

Yes, client and server, that’s how we’re used to think about it.
But remember that even the Designer and Admin client are called Domino since a couple of years now. So, to a newbie, it might not be too obvious.
From a developers point of view, we mostly talk about Notes, when we refer to developing for the Lotus Notes client and about Domino when developing for browser clients. Plus additional services and protocols supported by the server.
Heck, even Lotus’ own web mail client is called Domino Web Access now!
