I had a dialogbox I wanted to run against selected docs in a view. Kept getting the one standard error stating that it had to be run from a selected document. When I deleted the dialogbox as a form and recreated it as a subform it woked spendidly.

Hi Robert…having the same problem. Just tried this and it did not work (Notes 6.5.3) I note your post says 6.5.4, so that may be the issue. I am simply trying to call a ws.DialogBox using a form/subform to allow user to select a date, then pass the selected date back to my code. I have to allow for the fact that user may have a view category selected and not a document. I will try creating a temporary document, but any other suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.
