Dialog list on web

I hope someone can assist me with this. I am a begginner designer in Domino. I have a form that has a several dialog list, this form will be used on the web. I need to control the length of the dialog list, the dialog list choices, pull from a view. It appears currently that the size/length of the dialog list is dependent on the entries from the view, so all dialog list vary in size/length. I have several dialog list in this form, and for a cleaner look, how can I control the size/length of dialog list so that they all display the same number of characters and are the same size, regardless of the choices in the dialo list? I’ve tried size and length of html attributes, but seems to have no affect. I was able to control text fields using html attributes, but I must be doing something wrong with dialog list fields?

any guidance would be much appreciated.

Thank YOu! That worked perfectly, is there a place to get a listing of these attributes? I looked thru designer help, but I didn’t see it? is it there?

You won’t find it in Designer help. It’s not a Domino thing. The style attribute on fields is a place to add css

width: 50px; is a css property.

www.w3schools.com is a good place to start learing html and css. Then see alistapart.com for more advanced formatting techniques.

you stye = “width:50mm” in your field to get modify the width of the field.
