Dialog List issue

Hi

I have a dialog list field … a very basic one. The choices are based on a formula (@DBColumn). I have a default value specified in the field. My problem is that when the default value consists of two words instead of one, the values become split in two.

e.g. In the list I have the following choices retreived from a DbColumn:

Place A

Place B

Place C

In the default value I have “Place B”.

The end result is that in the list I have:

Place A

Place B

Place C

Place

B

I tried using the keywords synonyms option but it doesn’t work. Any idea what could the issue be please?

Ed

You may have to recreate your field. I managed to reproduce your problem, but only when I had switched my field to a multivalue field, and then switched it back to a single value field. When I deleted the field and started again with brand new field, it was fine again.

That’s strange! (and frustrating!). I created a new identical field and it worked. Thanks for your response!

This is the solution I thought of giving you. But anyway you fixed it. Even I got into the same problem, months ago. I too created a new field and deleted the old one which solved the problem.

Hi Edward,Make sure in “Multi Value Options” you don’t have “Space” as a separater.

Thanks for the response but I don’t have the multi-value option enabled.
