Hi all,We have numerous generic forms that have been added into numerous domino applications. These forms are simply used to add metadata to the selected emails, export the emails to DXL and send to a Web Service attached to an ECM system.
Now there is a requirement to add additional forms to the Personal Mail databases and Shared Mail-in databases.
I don’t really want to constantly be updating the mail template with new forms, especially as this generally requires adding another Action button onto numerous views and then there is the additional updating of the folder designs etc.
Another concern was that they want the export process to be immediate. Currently its a back-end process dependent on Agent Schedules and queues.
I was thinking if there was now the possibility to use the Side-bar or a Composite Application so that the forms were centralized. Also, with some level of background transactional capability so that users are not frozen while the process is still trying to export numerous documents to the ECM system.
Any ideas ?
