When I try to push notes.ini settings through a Desktop settings document, these settings do not show up in the notes.ini of the user.
I’ve created a test policy and added “DisableDPABProcessing=1” under “Custom settings → Notes.ini”, together with some other settings (not notes.ini settings). Next, I assigned the policy to a test user. All other settings are applied to the user, except the ones I added under Notes.ini on the policy document.
I looked in the IBM knowledge base and only found a solution that involved editing the desktop policy document in Designer and adding fields for the notes.ini variables. If I have to do that, then why is there a tab on the document where I can add these variables? Or is there another way to push these settings?
