I get the following error while attempting to create a new desktop policy, “You are not authorized to add Desktop Policy documents to the Domino Directory”
What do I need to do to add the policy, I’m trying to setup the smart upgrades. Thanks in advance.

Check the ACL of your Domino Directory. There are some new roles regarding policies.
PolicyCreator
PolicyModifier
PolicyReader
Give yourself or Admin group the PolicyCreator role and you should be set.
