does anyone know if there is a way using Policy Setting in Notes to define server connections and for particular locations which mailfile to use in example for Internet use on local, office on server etc. Thanks

User mail box location (whether local or server) is specified in location document. Refer this link for more info on Location document:
Brute force way to achieve this is to create two user ids per user. Enable only one for internet mailing.
For a single user id, domino can’t have different restrictions imposed.
