For one reason or another we do not have a true test environment, so I have to develop and test using the Notes nhttp.exe process located in my local \notes directory. Since I upgraded to from Notes 5 to Notes 6 nine months I have not been able to run servlets on my local desktop, and now I am finding out that cgi calls from within notes no longer work either. Again all of this (servlets, cgi, etc.) worked FINE under Notes 5, the upgrade to Notes 6 seens to have broken it all. The notes.ini and servlets.properties files are in tact.
I have seen post about the Webadmin.nsf and the web retriever process needing to be installed/started, but this seems to apply only to a FULL BLOWN DOMINO SERVER, not the LOCAL desktop HTTP process. Do they apply here? I have not seen a server document for my local PC anywhere. Does one exist? Can everything be configured in the Notes.ini, if so, how?
Bottom line: How do I get this HTTP process to work correctly on the desktop?
Help, please!
Thanks.
