I’m getting a problem where 8.5 DDE web preview isn’t working on any design elements. This is 8.5 on XP SP 3. No error messages and target url looks fine. Just get a blank screen; no HTML content. Same version on Vista Business or Home Premium works OK. Anyone else seen this?

Subject: AVG anti-virus and designer
Thanks for replying but it’s not an acl issue. Turns out that if you use AVG anti-virus and Designer, it interferes with the Web Preview function - I think that’s in all versions. Solution seems to be to use another anti-virus; there seem to be no settings in AVG that allow the preview.

I have the same issue. Even trying to preview my local names.nsf.
I don’t have AVG though I have Trend Micro.
Before I uninstall it is there any kind of new setup I have to do with 8.5, like run a http server, in order to web preview stuff?
