When I edit a View in DDE 9.0, a very simple View and change the Content of a Column, the Column loses the Programmatic name I gave it. This is a bit unfriendly, because all XPages view referencing to this name throughout the app then crash.

In certain contexts, changing a Column value will cause the associated Programmatic Name to change. This issue has been raised in the past but there is a reluctance to change the behavior since it has always worked this way and there are people who are accustomed to the current behavior.
Essentially, you need to be aware of the issue and reset the Programmatic Name if necessary.
