Hi
Yesterday, I lost the outline and the control views in Designer.
At this point, I have “An Outline is not available” under the Outline section and “A palette is not available” under the Control section.
I tried creating a new database and still same result as when I right click tabs and open in Designer…
I see grey…
Anyone can help on this one (which I am pretty sure is a very simple fix…)

Subject: those views
are only active in certain contexts. For example, the controls view will only not be gray when you are editing an xpage or custom control. The outline view is available for some editors (css/xml/html) as well as for xpages/custom controls.

You were right. I did not realize the view i wanted was Application… Not much of a designer I am… That is why I stick to admin…
