Whenever I attempt to create or open a database with the 8.5 designer client after a fresh install (I have never been able to get it to work), the designer & notes clients just disappear (no crash data or anything).
I have recreated the bookmarks (from previous postings) and recreated the desktop, but nothing seems to work.
I am only testing 8.5 - the server is still running R7.0.3. I can’t imagine that would impact the designer, especially if you are working locally?
