I have read and heard some announcement about that a few years ago: the Designer & Admin client on Mac OS… What’s the status today? Next release 8.5.2? Never? Any idea?Thx, Alex

Subject: On the list but no project plan yet, as I know of.

but is not yet at the top - there are lots of things we need to do. We’ve mentioned it is something we would like to do, but it has never been “announced” - rather it is something we are considering to do if/when we can. It won’t be in an 8.5.x, and it is not yet on a plan for “next” but it has not been forgotten. I know that’s not a definitive answer, but this is something we’d like to do, but there are also lots of other things to do and it’s always a matter of balancing.
Subject: I use parallels
Although I believe other VM software will do the same.
In Parallels they have a crystal mode, so it makes the windows app look like OSX apps. I have a test server and Designer Client set up that way.
