Anyone know how I can avoid this? It doesn’t do it higher up in the code. I’m assuming that it takes a combination of things to make this happen. If anyone has solved this already, please share.
Subject: Designer adding pipe and new line after %REM each time I save
I’ve had some problems with 6.0.1 and 6.0.2CF1 and CF2 where Designer repeatedly loses lines of code in events or buttons using LotusScript.
Agents don’t appear to suffer from this VERY annoying problem. It can happen simply whilst scrolling up and down and doesn’t seem to be triggered by any particular behaviour.
I’m guessing what you need to do is upgrade to a version where:
a) Someone has bothered to report this to Lotus, and
b) Lotus have fixed it.
Have been looking at 6.0.3 fixlists but they don’t seem to be covered there unfortunately.

luckily I haven’t lost any lines of code. I just get extra lines. It doesn’t cause a problem since it’s within the rem, but it’s annoying. I’ll go ahead and report it to Lotus. BTW, It only seems to happen when I use a pipe as a string delimiter. If I switch to {} the problem goes away.
