Designer 8.5.1 : control 'editable area' has desappeared!

I have two computers.Since I’ve installed 8.5.1 on the second (the first one were already in 8.5.1) its impossible to use "editable aerea’ (facets):

  1. the control is not present within the list of controls

  2. if I make a modification on an existing facets of an xpage containing facets, I get error on the browser

  3. If I manually write <this.facets> etc into the source : same error

It seems the facets functionnality has desappeared…

More :

comparing with image in wiki, I find that 3 controls are missing :

  • line break

  • span content

  • editable area

The worst : they are missing on my TWO computers…

Subject: Editable Areas

I notice the Editable area option is not available on an XPage, only on a custom control. This makes sense really, because the editable area only needs to be used on a custom control. On an XPage you would just drop the custom control directly in where you need it.

With regard to the missing controls, check your preferences (Domino Designer\Palette), they may not be selected to show.
