I have to design a complex form that requires loop in @formula. I want to take advantage of the new @while formula in Domino Designer version 6.
But it takes a while before we will upgrade to Domino version 6.
Is it possible that we upgrade Domino clients (Designer/Notes/Administrator) to version 6, and at the same time Domino server is still at version 5.0.11?

You really should do any upgrade the other way around - Servers first, then Clients.
As far as designs are concerned, you should stick with lowest (client version, that is) common denominator.
Read the relevant Red Books for further details.

You could always code the agents in Lotusscript - it has the iterative loop features you require.

Servers
Workstations
Applications
is the golden rule.
(Look on the bright side - it sure beats the M$ “Rip and replace” methodology!)
