hi all

i am not getting exactly what is the diff between design refresh & design replace?

Hi,Replace design is like you will have a template of a database and you have some changes in the design , and if u replace the design it will ask for the new template to be replaced if u specify the template it will replace all the design elements whcih are not matching the template that u specify.

Refresh design is similar to replace design except that you should have specified some template as a master template of the database in the server and given the template name in the Design tab of the Database properties. If u say refresh design it wont ask for the template. It will take the template mentioned in the design tab.

If I’m not mistaken a refresh only updates changes design documents and a replace overwrites all design documents (except those marked no-refresh/replace)
