Hello world))) I heard that Lotus Notes can work without installation. And so - question! I have my own Domino Server and connected Users (my clients). For new clients I would like to make self-extracted RAR archive with Lotus Notes. This one must have all my preferences (locations, connections, workspace, workspace, etc.). Tell my please, is it possible?

I`d like to give an opportunity to download demo-version of my products from the web-site.

I don’t think Notes can work without installation.I’ve done what you need back for R5, as part of custom registration/installation process, creating individual address book, bookmarks, desktop, etc.

Then, at the user PC, a simple DOS batch would:

  • run a silent install

  • copy the user-specific files from a shared drive

I also used a Welcome email to gather PC HW data, etc. into a central database.
