Delivery time expired

Hi,

We are running Domino 6.0.1 on W2K, configured for SMTP mail. we note some Internet mail who is sent outbound, stay in MAIL.BOX in a “Pending delivery” state, and no visible action is taken on it by the router. This mail are returned after some time with an error of “Delivery Time Expired”.

No idea why is the mail not delivered, nor why there is no attempt at routing of the mail ?

Thanks beforehand.

David.

Hi,

To follow upon my mail, here precesions.

In the events of routing of our server domino, we have the following message ‘Router : Message XXXX not transferred via smtp to ‘mail.servername.com’ for ‘uscontact@servername.com’ 450 Client host rejeted:cannot find your hostname(IP)’

The distant server of mail, control the domain name of our server with our address mail and refuses the routing.

Not idea concerning a problem of configuration on our waiter.

Thanks beforhand.

David
