Delivery failure when using domain name before an after @

Hello,

I have created several users called name.acme@acme.com

The domain name acme.com is our primary domain name (and domino domain) and it works to send mail to it as in user@acme.com, however but not when using the domain name before @acme.com

as name.acme@acme.com

When sending mail to them from localy or internet using internet address the router is unable to find them and we receive the NDR as “550 name.acme@acme.com… No such user”

Any one having solution for the issue ??

Thanks

Subject: User Names matching the domain name.

First you should use this ini parameter to prevent the router from thinking that the name left of the @ is a domain. SMTP_LEFT_DOT_NEVER_DOMAIN=1 -Next make sure this address is listed in the internet address field, or in the user name field. When listing additional addresses in the user name feild, it must be the full internet address like, joe.shmoe@domain.com
