HiWe have recently upgraded our servers from 5.8 to 6.5. I am in the process of upgrading the clients. My problem seems to be that as the users are transfered to the new client they are then unable to delete any mail from their mailbox. They were able to delete mail before the upgrade. I have checked the ACL in their mail file and that is set to Person, Author with delete allowed. Presumably there is a setting somewhere that I have wrong. Thank you Regards David

1)Refresh the user Mail file design again from the server
2)Compact the user mail file

your users should really have editor access to their mail files.
Are you using soft deletions?

I’m new to lotus development but I think that with “Author access + delete” the users can only delete documents (emails) that they themselves are the author of. The emails in their inboxes are probably not such documents. =)
