Deleting a user from Traveler after they have been removed from the address book?

I’m trying to delete a user from Traveler but fails since they already have been removed from the address book.I’ve tried tell traveler delete {device id} {user/domain}

and tell traveler delete * {user/domain}

both come back with "failed to resolve user … but will be attempted using the name provided

{device ID} is not a valid device."

Subject: Same problem: solved

I had this same problem and I was able to solve it by pasting the old user back into the NAB - I had made a backup before deleting. Then I ran the command: tell traveler delete * username

After that I deleted the user from the NAB again.

If you don’t have a backup, you could try creating a user temporarily in the NAB with the same name… not sure if that would work though.
