We recently upgraded 130 clients from 7.0.3 to 8.5.1. All went well, except we found that the delete function in the mailbox for two of the users suddenly doesn’t work properly anymore. If they hit the delete button (or the trash can icon), nothing appears to happen - the email message stays on screen, no markings appear on screen, and the email does not move to the trash folder. However, if you shut down the client and restart it, the email that was deleted THEN moves over to trash. Reproducible every time. We’ve tried the usual (updall, compact, refreshing/replacing design, etc.) to no avail. Checked 8.5 and 8.0 forums and knowledgebases, found a couple of people reporting problems with the delete function, but no solutions. Any thoughts/assistance would be appreciated…
