Delete E-Mail and Return to Inbox

When reading an e-mail, if you press the key, the e-mail is deleted, and the next message in the Inbox is opened. This is standard behavior.

In older versions of Notes, it was possible to configure the Mail db such that pressing the key while reading a message would delete the message and return you to the Inbox. Many of our users prefer to have that ability that was available to them before upgrading to ND8.

Is there a way to configure the Mail application in ND8 to return to the Inbox when is pressed? If not, is there any chance that it will be put in newer versions?

Subject: Enhancement request exists

There is an existing enhancement request to change the behavior as you’ve described. It is being tracked as SPR ADEE7DJGVY. There is currently low demand for a change to the functionality, but it’s something that will be considered if additional customers indicate a preference for the proposed behavior.
