This was the old topic, which I am initializing again.
When any user face any kind of software problem, they mention their problem and send it to a mailin database internet address. The problem is, the message submitted by users are getting delivered after 2-3 hours of their actual submission. ( They are appearing in mail in database after 2-3 hours)
How should analyse this problem…

Are they using laptops and local replicas of mail files? What is the replication schedule?
Can you see the message being delivered on the server console?
Where are the users relative to the server the Mail in database is located on?
Do the mail messages appaer in the mail.boxes on the servers?

Yes… It worked .
The users of mailin database was a replica… the replication now properly set up and hence the problem got resolved.

Here, we have two kinds of servers, for example :
D12ML701 (the main server), and
D12MC701 (the backup/replication one) .
Sometimes, our users’ workspaces have automatically found the backup server,
and they connect to it, even not knowing about it. (sorry for my poor english)
The replication between both is scheduled at least every 30 min (AKAIK, and depending on network overload)…
so their outgoing mails take lot of time !
Maybe are your users experiencing the same kinda problem ?
