Delay after rename in address book

I have just one user that has a four minute delay when opening her mailfile. She can open any other database almost immediately. As manager of the database, I can open it with no delay. I made her manager of my mail file and she can open it with no delay. I’m really confused. I thought once the name change request completed the process that this would resolve itself but that is not the case.

I have tried deleting cache files but that did not help. It almost seems like the cache file is being recreated each time she opens her mail. Her mail file is on the server and data folder is local.

I also found that if she uses version 5.11 there is no delay.

Has anyone else seen this?

I had a similar problem with my client. The solution (albeit not ideal) was to open the mail database in designer and open and save each design element that had not been updated with the new name. Just signing the database from the server with the User ID did not work for me and I had to intervene in this round-about way. Good luck.

you can sign and recompile most of the lotusscript. that can save you some time from editing every design element.
