Default view id lost when i sign my database

Hi,

I have a database design in 6.5.3, with a defaut view define.

When i copy it on a server 6.5.x and sign it with the server id it work fine

but if i copy it on a server 7.01 and sign it with the server id the database lost the id of the default view so method AppendDoclink does’nt work and generate the error message “Couldn’t find default view id in database…”

What can i do ?

This happened with me once, the exact message is “Couldn’t get default view id for database ([data base path])”. It happened after replacing the design. The design of the database is hidden.We solve it by ‘repairing’ and then replacing the design. ‘repairing’ was done by a utility we made to remove all design elements from the database.
