Default values for ws.picklist

SendTo = ws.PickListStrings( PICKLIST_NAMES, True, , ui.fieldgettext(“OtherAuthors”) )

I’m looking for a way to use the contents of a field as selected values in the NAB selection. The “OtherAuthors” field may contain multiple names. They should be on the right side of the dialog. But I can’t get it to default.

I’m not sure how you would get a default when using PICKLIST_NAMES but you could get this to work using a slightly different approach… dialogbox. It may require one extra click on the users part but…

Create a Subform with a Names field that selects from the address book. And use something like this.

def_auths=doc.OtherAuthors

doc.[NamesFieldOnSubForm]=def_auths



sendto = ws.DialogBox("SubFormName", True, True, False, False, False, False, "Title", , True, False)

If sendto = False Then

	End

End If

dialog_val=doc.[NamesFieldOnSubForm]

doc.sendto=dialog_val

This way the names are in the field when you open the dialog box and they are able to select new ones.
