The default settings for LN Traveller upon installation provoke a very high energy consumption and continous data connection.
Most users only can solve it by disabling Wifi and/or Data to extend batery lifetime to last at least a day.
Default settings:
Setting/Autosync/Schedule/Peak sync = Real-time
Setting/Autosync/Schedule/Off-peak sync = Real-time
Preferred/proposed settings:
Setting/Autosync/Schedule/Peak sync = Every 15 minutes
Setting/Autosync/Schedule/Off-peak sync = Every hour
This will reduce data cost (to be checked) and enhance battery lifetime (a lot)

If I understand it correctly:
- “the default setting of the Auto Sync Schedule is 15 minutes”
- “the settings on the servers are Always connected”
I have 2 questions:
1- Why are the settings on the server “Always connected”? Does it impact the default settings on the client?
2- Was a test executed to install traveller and check the AutoSync settings?
