Default form in multi language template & Send mail from office applications

Hi,

if you have a multi languate mail template, you can only point one memo form as the default form. (only one language)

What happens if I create a mailfile of a different language? will it have a default memo form?

We have a lot of problems with endusers having the message: “cannot locate default form” when opening a message or using the send mail feature from a windows application (fe Word)

Same problem here. In multi-language databases, the default form is still the English version of the Memo form. When only the (in my case) Dutch version of the template is used, there is no default form, resulting in the “cannot locate default form” message. I also get this message when opening simple newsletter agents. Changing the default form in either the person’s mail database or template seems the only solution here, making the multi-language database concept quite useless. On the wishlist for Notes R7 ? :slight_smile:
